We opened our doors to the industry and invited them to come in and learn the very best practices when it comes to wastewater treatment and reuse.

Since September, we have had the privilege of hosting many groups in our local water centre tours. From Indian officials to students from the University of New South Wales, from Ozwater Young Water Professionals to the general public, each group brought a unique set of knowledge and curiosity to our centres.

For these tours, we were able to provide each group with hands-on insight into our processes - showing them first-hand how we tackle wastewater treatment and more. Our water week tour was a hit, where participants were given the chance to get involved with a variety of activities. From a guided tour of our water waste management facility to a skit showing how sustainable water use was adopted in the home, the tour initiated conversation and discussion. UNSW engineering students had the chance to indulge in a work experience program where they were given what was at the time an unprecedented insight into a functioning water centre.

Altogether has been praised for its commitment to knowledge sharing and water research, and we are honoured to continue working with so many inspiring groups through our local water tours.
